Greg Baird has been leading in children's ministry for over 17 years. He has been the first children's pastor at 3 different churches (with sizes of 250, 2000 & 4500) experiencing first hand the requirements of building successful children's ministry. He has served under the leadership of John Maxwell, and currently serves at Shadow Mountain Community Church under the leadership of Dr. David Jeremiah.
Greg is the Founder/Director of Kids In Focus Ministries, a non-profit organization committed to "helping to reach today's kids". He has written numerous articles for Children's Ministry Magazine, Outreach Magazine, and many others. He is the creator of the Children's Ministry Leadership booklets, and has spoken nationally for Group Publishing, at conferences and in local churches.
A "missionary kid" himself, Greg also has partnered with other children's ministry organizations (Kidzana and Kidz At Heart) to train nationals for children's ministry in Russia (Moscow), Australia (Perth) and the Philippines (Manila).
Passionate about reaching kids, Greg's keynote messages resonate with a deep desire to see others equipped to reap the harvest in today's greatest mission field - children! Filled with humor, meaningful information and practical application, Greg engages groups of all kinds with the message of how to reach children for Christ in the local church. Greg is also available to present workshops in a variety of areas in children's ministry, although he specializes in practical leadership training.
