Jim Wideman & Roger Fields are in town here in San Diego tomorrow. They're here for the "LGO" seminar - "Let's Get Organized". I'm always looking for better ways to stay organized, even though I tend to do that pretty well in the first place. But how can you go wrong with Jim & Roger? I'm sure I'll come away with lot's of new ideas, but if I can get just one to help me be more productive, I'll be happy.
Here's one I learned a long time ago and have tried to consistently apply it because I believe reading is so important: commit to just one chapter a day. If you can just be organized and committed enough to do that, do you realize how many books you'll get through in a year? A lot! Of course, sometimes I get through more than one chapter, so it's even better. But if I can read my one chapter each day, I'm happy!
