I received a ministry newsletter last week that had a great quote from Phil Vischer, creator of Veggie Tales. He said:
"The impact God has planned for us doesn't occur when we're pursuing impact. It occurs when we are pursuing God."
As we move into a new season of ministry in the new year, what are we pursuing? While plans, strategies and goals are all important, we must first and foremost pursue God. That is when the true impact will happen in our lives, and in the lives of our leaders, families and kids.
