Modeling a WORSHIPFUL Heart Bible Passage: Psalm 139:1-6, 13-18
What is David saying in these verses? Basically, he's saying "You are God...and I am not!" He's worshiping God for who He is: the creator and sustainer of life; the omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent One who knows all things. As we serve with this in mind - with a worshipful heart - it's amazing how our perspective changes. Amidst the seeming chaos that we might encounter at Summer Blast, those serving with a right perspective of who God is will serve well because they will acknowledge that God is still in control...even when we are not!
When challenges arise and you don't have answer, are you still acknowledging that God is God...and He knew what was going to happen before it happened?
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done. Sing to him; yes, sing his praises.
